About Us

Hestia Home is a family run business based in the beautiful Peak District, we have been trading since April 2016.  Born out of the love of transforming pre-loved furniture and with a passion for sustainability (we don't like to throw anything away), we enjoy sourcing, repairing and refinishing furniture.

​

Helen's always been thrifty and gets great pleasure from turning old and unloved furniture into pieces you'll treasure for years to come.

​

Kevin - a builder by trade, is responsible for all the heavy lifting, repairing and preparation, before Helen, the ultimate perfectionist and "the artistic one", does the painting and applies the all important finish.

​

If you'd prefer to learn more about furniture transformation, Helen runs workshops from home (nr Leek, Staffordshire), for both beginners and more advanced upcyclers.  Available for 1-to-1 or for groups, these fun classes would make a perfect gift or gathering (hen party, team building, birthday party).  Using her preferred Frenchic® chalk paint and with prices from £45.  Take a look at our furniture painting workshops.
